XIII Minutes Drops Lyric Video For “Blue Flame”

Tulsa, Oklahoma metal band XIII Minutes debuted a brand new lyric video on March 25, 2020.

“Blue Flame” premiered exclusively on The Metal Resource, according to a post on the bands’ official Facebook page. Appropriately, the heat level is turned up high on this one, with furious hardcore vocals and a technically impressive guitar solo later in the tune.

“The basic qualities of the Blue Flame are manifested through the energies of power, strength, faith and protection,” XIII Minutes had to say about the meaning of the song. “We take our failures, our false beliefs and ideas…and we spit them through the ray of power, strength, faith, and protection.”

The band chose its name because “every thirteen minutes, one American will take their own life. Every thirteen minutes, someone in America dies in a motor vehicle accident. Every thirteen minutes, a woman dies of breast cancer and thirteen minutes is the time the warning sirens give before a tornado hits. Thirteen Minutes is the time it takes every day to be spiritually fit. Thirteen is the number of great blessing. The number thirteen is the number of new life.”
