The veteran hard rock and metal band Project 86 has announced that they are embarking on their final chapter as a band after a 25 year run.
The 2nd Annual Grizzly Awards, the only awards event that honors faith-based metal rock and roll, announced this year’s winners during a livestream event broadcast to Facebook on February 20.
The Grizzly Awards is slated to stream live on Facebook at 7:00 PM Central on February 20, featuring live performances from The Protest, Theody, and The Midnight Wedding, with additional performances by Disciple, Project 86, and Spoken. Presenters for the evening include Josiah Prince of Disciple, Nate Parrish, Jake Jones of As We Ascend, and Caitlin Trlak of The Midnight Wedding.
Project 86 is gearing up for a special event later this week that will celebrate their landmark album Drawing Black Lines. The concert will feature the album played in its entirety, live-streamed to viewers on January 15. Fans who purchase VIP tickets will get access to an acoustic, storytelling-centered hangout session on January 14.
Heavy metal veterans Project 86 have been creating hard music since their debut over 20 years ago. So it is fitting that the rockers are set to perform the entirety of Drawing Black Lines live online to celebrate the anniversary of the release of their sophomore project, which released in 2000.
Project 86 has released a video teasing "the final chapter." The video doesn't contain much information aside from a date: March 23, 2020.
