On the latest episode of the Trevor Talks podcast, Skillet frontman John Cooper shared some inside details about a new Skillet song coming later this year.
Z2 Comics has announced that they will be publishing Eden II: The Aftermath, the sequel to Skillet's 2019 graphic novel Eden. Loudwire premiered the cover, and Hollywood Reporter shared a preview of the first few pages.
Billboard originally reported this week that Colton Dixon had switched record labels to Atlantic Records. Dixon was originally on Sparrow Records (a division of Capitol) after his American Idol run, but has decided to make the move to Atlantic Records while being mentored and guided by Skillet's John and Korey Cooper. Colton will be on the Cooper's label imprint, Hear It Loud.
A special radio broadcast featuring a star-studded lineup of major rock and alternative artists kicked off National Suicide Prevention Week today. The artists include Skillet, Disturbed, and Blink 182. The broadcast, under the initiative I'm Listening, aired on over 230 radio stations owned by Entercom, as well as on radio.com, where you can stream the broadcast. Fight the Fury, the heavy music side project of Skillet's John Cooper and Seth Morrison, has released their debut EP Still Breathing today. The project landed at #1 on the iTunes rock charts as Billboard debuted a music video for the lead single, "My Demons."
