Glasslands announced this week that they have signed with Velocity Records, joining a roster that includes Thursday and Scary Kids Scaring Kids.
Facebook posts imply that the partnership has been in the works for a while. “Stoked to finally announce that we have signed with Velocity Records! Can’t even explain how excited we are to have such an amazing team,” Glasslands shared. “We couldn’t have done it without you, so thank you so much for listening and supporting us. Give a follow for Glasslands updates and check out the other dope artists!”
The partnership likely signals new music from the band, who has released a smattering of singles since 2016’s full length debut Pariah. Last year, the band also released reimagined, stripped back takes on some of their songs with the Basement Sessions.
Glasslands is a trio comprised of members who collectively have experience in Beartooth, Icon for Hire, and Before Their Eyes. You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about the promise of new music.
