RED has just announced that they’re moving the release of their album Declaration up from April 10 to April 3.
“Declaration will now be available everywhere April 3rd!! We can’t wait for you to hear it!” the band shared in a Facebook post accompanying a video. “We will be performing an acoustic livestream event on April 3rd at 11am CST. More details to come!!”
Declaration was originally due out April 10, which would have been while RED was wrapping up their stint on Winter Jam. With the touring industry effectively halted until further notice due to the COVID-19 crisis, the band made the decision to get music in the hands of fans early.
It’s the kind of call that the band can make, now that they’re distributing their music as an independent entity. Declaration will be the band’s first full length project since transitioning to independence. Fans have been getting steady teasers of the new sound over the past year with songs like “The Evening Hate,” “From the Ashes,” “Sever,” “All for You,” and most recently “The War We Made.”
