After a week of teasing fans with cryptic profile photo and spreading the word on social media about an announcement, hard rock band The Letter Black finally announced that they are officially returning from their hiatus.
In a live video on both Facebook and Instagram, lead singer Sarah Anthony, along with bandmates Mark Anthony and Daniel Hegerle, told fans that “we have officially retired!” After a moment of dramatic pause, they clarified that “the big news is that we are writing record number four, we are writing and recording, we are signing to a record label, and we are back!”
Additional details are still being ironed out, but the band is planning to tour and will release their fourth album soon, ten years after their Tooth & Nail Records debut Hanging On By A Thread.
Their most recent album, Pain, was released in 2017, featuring a grittier and heavier version of the band on songs like “Kill the Devil.” In 2018, the band announced that they would be taking an indefinite hiatus to focus on family priorities. Stay tuned to Rock On Purpose for additional details as they are available.
