Wolves at the Gate Release Fiery Music Video for ‘A Voice In the Violence’

Wolves at the Gate has released a new music video for their track “A Voice in the Violence.” The music video features sharply contrasting elements of fire and water, light and shadow, creating visual drama to echo the themes of the song.

“A Voice in a Violence” could be seen as an embodiment of the Biblical passage 1 Kings 19:11-12: “Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.” The track is from Wolves at the Gate’s most recent album, Eclipse, which you can purchase or stream at watg.ffm.to/eclipse.

The video releases as Wolves at the Gate launches into a fall tour with My Epic, Comrades, and Empty. You can find a full list of dates on their Facebook.
