Lacey Sturm has shared over the past few months about her guest vocal on Breaking Benjamin’s upcoming acoustic rendition of “Dear Agony.” Now, she’s dropping increasingly frequent hints that the collaboration might become something more.
In a recent interview with CCM Magazine, Lacey shared about the two connecting while Lacey was filling in with Skillet this past spring. She also told more of the story of how she ended up doing a guest vocal for “Dear Agony.” Finally, she admitted that they’ve been talking about starting an actual side project together.
In addition to the interview from Lacey with CCM, Benjamin Burnley shared similar thoughts with Cutter’s RockCast earlier this year: “Me and Lacey have been talking about doing another band, putting a band together. We just wanna do a record.” Loudwire has also been reporting on the news as it develops.
The side project would add to what has become a full schedule for Lacey Sturm. She just wrapped up a fall tour, has spent much of this year leading her Reflect Love Back devotional and music series, and has also been writing for a new album of her own. Keep up with all of Lacey’s projects on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. You can stay tuned for Breaking Benjamin’s acoustic album by finding them on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and their website.
